The apprenticeship programme is a fantastic opportunity to gain training and an accredited qualification while working alongside experienced staff.
Apprentices develop key job skills, gain a recognised qualification, make new contacts and familiarise themselves with the working environment while earning a salary.

Business Administration – Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Business Administration What will I do?
- · Develop strong communication skills
- · Strengthen ability to deliver frontline services working with the public
- · Produce documents on the computer using Microsoft Office software
- · Learn how to file and retrieve information effectively
- · Build organisation skills through time and people management
- Manage incoming and outgoing post
What will I gain?
The award will give you a qualification suitable for a position as an office assistant/junior, receptionist and other administrative roles. It also provides the opportunity to progress onto Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration
How can I start an apprenticeship?
- You will need to be employed or a volunteer in an office or similar environment
- If you are not employed already, Springboard can help you find an employer
- You must be over 16 years of age
How often will I need to attend?
Typically you will attend training at Springboard Bromley once a week and your place of work four days a week. Those doing advanced apprenticeships will only attend Springboard Bromley once a month.
Childcare – Level 2 certificate for the Children and young people Workforce
- This course is appropriate for people working under supervision of a childcare setting
- You will need to be employed or a volunteer working with children between the ages of birth and 19
- You must be over 16 years of age
This award will give you a qualification suitable for a position as an assistant in a play group, children’s day centre or nursery. You can also progress onto a level 3 diploma for the children and young people workforce.
Level 3 Diploma for the Children and young people Workforce
This course is aimed to develop skills and knowledge for a wide range of careers that involves care and education of young children including nursery practitioners, early year’s workers and teaching assistants. For most learners, this would be a progression from level 2.
