Entry to Employment
The aim of our Entry to Employment (E2E) programme is to help you make the step into regular employment, further education or Apprenticeship/NVQ training. If you are aged 16-19 you will not have to pay for your training – it is government funded. If you are 20 or over please contact us for costs.

Here's what one of our students thinks about E2E:
Katee is 18 and is on our E2E programme. When she first joined us Katee was interested in animal care, as she explains, “I wanted to work with animals so Springboard Bromley arranged for me to have a short ‘taster’ working at a farm, but I didn’t like the goat! I’d seen there were students working in Springboard’s café, which I thought would be interesting, so I asked if I could have a placement in there. I had a taster and really enjoyed it! I now work in the café 3 days a week and study my Customer Service NVQ Level 1, literacy and numeracy on a Tuesday. Felix, our Catering Training Officer, and all the other students are really helpful. The best part of my placement is learning how to make new food. The worst bit is the cleaning, but it’s just one of those things that needs to be done and is important for everyone’s health & safety. For the future I definitely want a career in catering. Springboard Bromley will be offering Catering Apprenticeships soon, and I hope to start one when I finish my E2E programme. I would definitely recommend E2E to anyone who is unsure of what they want to do, and who want to try a few different things before making their mind up.”
