Springboard Bromley Trust is a registered charity established in 1981 by the Learning division of CSV, the UK volunteering and learning charity.
Delivering from sites in Bromley, Hackney and Cray Valley, Springboard offers a wide range of alternative and vocational training to learners across London.
Every year Springboard Bromley engages with over 300 young people working predominantly with young people aged 14-25 who are not in education, employment or training (NEET) and providing practical vocational learning to support them into employment or further education.
In addition to learning and developing basic communication and employability skills, learners achieve qualifications in English, Maths and ICT. They also have the opportunity to develop vocational skills such as construction, media and childcare. With a focus on the learner, Springboard Bromley has developed a familiar environment where learners feel a part of the team. This approach to learning suits our young people better than a traditional and more formal setting and results in higher attainment and the achievement of qualifications and job outcomes.
Training courses and programmes include:
- National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) training
- Apprenticeships
- Advanced Apprenticeships
- Foundation Learning (The Ladder)
- Functional skills (Schools 14-16)
We are part of UK volunteering and learning charity CSV and have been established as a training provider since 1981.
CSV is the UK’s leading volunteering and learning agency and provides support and guidance to thousands of people each year across a range of programmes. Their philosophy guides us today – everyone should be able to take part in the life of their community. Springboard Bromley is firmly committed to equal opportunities and operate an ‘open door’ policy – all learners are welcome to apply, whatever their ability or background.
